The Percussion Dragoon is a .44 caliber revolver designed for the cavalry of the United States of America, also called dragons.

This revolver was designed as a solution to the many problems that existed in the Walker model.

Although introduced after the Mexican American War, it became popular among civilians during the years 1850-1860, and was even used during the American Civil War.
