Waldo Dynamics develops upgrade parts and maintenance products specifically for airsoft . The Perfect range meets the common maintenance needs of GBB, GBBR, and AEG replicas with lubricants designed for the mechanisms and materials found on these platforms.
The Crimson Waldo Dynamics VFC/APFG/Maruyama NPAS allows you to adjust the energy of a GBBR with a 1.5 mm Allen key. Its reduced internal bore is designed to improve consistency between shots, particularly around 0.9 to 1.2 joules, while maintaining a wide adjustment range.
The Crimson Waldo Dynamics VFC/APFG/Maruyama NPAS allows direct adjustment of the energy output of many GBBRs . Once installed in the nozzle, it can be adjusted with a simple 1.5 mm Allen key.
Access is gained from the front of the nozzle after removing the replica's moving parts. A clockwise rotation reduces the energy; a counterclockwise rotation increases it. This allows the adjustment to be adapted to the configuration used, the gas, the BB weight, or the temperature conditions.
The Crimson NPAS 's distinguishing feature is its narrower internal bore. This design was developed to achieve more consistent results between shots, with particular attention paid to configurations operating around 0.9 to 1.2 joules .
This range corresponds to an area where the stability of an adjustable system can become particularly important. Tests conducted for the project specifically compared the Crimson's behavior to that of an original valve to assess this consistency.
The narrower bore does not mean that the NPAS is limited to low energy levels. Waldo Dynamics reports having achieved values exceeding 2 joules on standard barrel length configurations with 0.36g BBs.
The actual energy obtained naturally remains dependent on the entire configuration: barrel length and diameter, gas used, temperature, mass of the BBs and characteristics specific to each GBBR.
Once the NPAS is installed, adjustments do not require complete nozzle disassembly. After removing the bolt, a 1.5 mm Allen key allows access to the adjustment screw from the front.
The principle is particularly practical when conditions change throughout the year. A few adjustments allow you to modify the flow rate and then monitor the result with a chronograph until you reach the desired energy level.
The part is made from a reinforced nylon polymer . This material is associated with the characteristic red color of the Crimson range, which makes the component immediately identifiable both on a workbench and when installed in the nozzle.
This visual identification is valuable when working on several mobile assemblies or several replicas equipped with different configurations.
The Crimson NPAS covers a wide selection of VFC GBBR platforms: URGI, 416, BCM, SR-16, AK, 727, M933, M733, M16A1, M16A2, XM177E2, MP7, SR25, M110, SCAR-H, 417, G28, PSG1, T91, G36, G3, HK53, FAL, OSW, FNC, UMP45, UMP9 and PPSH.
This extensive compatibility allows the same adjustment principle to be used on many architectures in the VFC range, from AR platforms to more specific models.
Compatibility doesn't stop with VFCs. The NPAS can also be fitted to the APFG MCX and MPX in their various versions, as well as the Maruyama ISO 556, APC9, SCW9 and SPC9 .
The Marksman K1A GBBR is also among the compatible models. The Crimson thus provides a common solution for a particularly wide range of GBBR platforms.
Installation requires some technical knowledge and a minimum of tools. During adjustment, the screw must remain engaged in the mechanism: do not continue unscrewing until it is completely removed.
After each modification, the chronograph check allows precise measurement of the energy obtained and progressively fine-tuning of the setting according to the configuration of the replica.
An NPAS allows you to modify the nozzle's gas flow to adjust the energy delivered by a GBBR. The Crimson NPAS is also designed to improve shot-to-shot consistency, particularly around 0.9 to 1.2 joules.
The adjustment is made with a 1.5 mm Allen key from the front of the nozzle. A clockwise rotation decreases the energy, while a counter-clockwise rotation increases it.
The Crimson NPAS is compatible with many VFC GBBRs, including the AR, 416, AK, MP7, SR25, SCAR-H, G36, G3, FAL, FNC, and UMP families. It is also compatible with the APFG MCX and MPX, the Maruyama ISO 556, APC9, SCW9, and SPC9, as well as the Marksman K1A.
